Asthma and COPD are chronic respiratory conditions. These two conditions have been the focus of multiple studies, and discussions with the health care community as millions of people worldwide are affected and died due to its complications.
Asthma is a chronic condition, characterized by the inflammation of the airways and airflow obstruction(Goolsby, Grubbs, & Goolsby, 2014). Also, according to the National Asthma Education Prevention Program(NAEPP) and the Global Initiative for Asthma, asthma is also viewed as a variable and recurrent symptoms, with bronchial hyper-responsiveness(Watkins, Laber, & Peters, 2015).
