While Chuck does not possess any significant wealth other than the reported home he lives in, he does possess some great strengths. The Nursing home could potentially be a formal resource that could provide support for Chuck. Though they may, or not provide Chuck with services, Chuck himself could potentially be a resource to the nursing home, taking on the role of a volunteer/ visitor who participates with those who live in the home, using some of his powers to better/ support others and in turn gaining powers that address his social and psychological needs.
3. In what other ways might Chuck’s involvement with the community be enhanced?
Other ways that Chuck’s involvement within the community could be enhanced is through his love for reading and sociable personality, as he could volunteer at a library, or elementary school, or senior home in numerous positions. This would not only allow Chuck to engage with other in his community and enhance his connections, status, and reputation, but could also help with his loneliness.
