WHAT: Round up the whole family and head out to the park to participate in the 19th Annual Chumash Day Powwow and Intertribal Celebration this weekend. This annual event will celebrate Native Americans from all over the country, representing hundreds of tribes who will gather at the park. You and your family will have a great time as you experience and learn all about the Native American culture and their way of life. As you stroll through the park, your family will enjoy Native American food, shop a variety of craft vendors and watch and participate in tribal ceremonies and dances.

This exciting event will feature restaurants, caterers, wineries and breweries offering their best food and drinks. Jazz tunes will fill the air as the area's finest musicians perform live on two stages throughout the show while you enjoy an unlimited sampling of wine, craft beers, boutique spirits and gourmet food. Artisans will also be displaying their artwork throughout the event and the festival's headliner is saxophonist, produce and composer Danny Janklow, known internationally for his soulful and passionate sounds. Also performing are the Adam Clark Quartet, Lao Tizer, D.on Darox and The Melody Joy Bakers, The Barrelhouse Wailers and Bruce Forman’s Cow Bop.
