Q. 3 Positioning: Definition:
Positioning is an important part of the marketing strategy as it relies on people perceptions and feeling towards a product or service or can also be highlighted by a person idea of a brand. By using certain taglines and strategic messages then the product or service can gain a higher place in the persons mind in relation to it being a good or bad product.
Current Scenario:
C.C.T. currently don’t have a positioning structure in place and it is unclear what type of service they provide within the community and further afield. Because of this they are at a disadvantage when it comes to attracting new business or clients for the organisation.
Proposed Scenario: According to this research it was found out that the company don’t have enough positioning concerning different parts of the company. For example they source their food from the garden at the café grounds and this message needs to be transmitted to the customers of the organisation that they are a healthy living café providing locally produced food supply. With regard to the services that are provided to young males in Cork in the suburban area, the logo needs to be more attractive to attract more clients with a more up to date

One concept behind community-based corrections programs is to develop an alternative method instead of incarceration and to develop an effective method for reducing the number of inmates in prisons throughout the United States. In the 1950s, the United States and neighboring country Canada are both dealing with prison overcrowding, and an effective solution to end these problems come in the form of community corrections. During this time, “…local institutions, residential centres, group homes and specialized probations services were promoted as alternatives to incarceration” (Community Corrections, 1998, p. 5).…

They are faced by a growing number of people who are out of work - people that previously were able to contribute to their cause who now find themselves in need of reception of their services. Differential variation in CCF’s approach to the world it serves will increase their chances of survival among other charities. The first half of this successful equation is determining metrics in support of the successful implementation of their charter. The AIMES program is a step in the right direction but may need to do more to make sure that it differentiates itself by seeking to expand from basic needs support to coaching and uplifting people to independence. From an accounting point of view, CCF needs to design and implement the other half of a successful firm’s equation which is based around the correct organizational structure – a structure that supports innovation and creativity among their community managers but enforces the appropriate controls in support of goal congruence with…

"Brand positioning is an attempt to create and maintain a unique representation of the brand in customer's mind, a representation that is expected to stimulate choice of that brand" (Rossiter, 2005, p.42). Positioning, in fact, refers to how customers think about different brands in a market. Through brand positioning a company attempts to build a sustainable competitive advantage on product attributes in the consumer's mind. Nevertheless, developing a successful positioning strategy is not easy. Positioning products in a complex market can be one of a company's most difficult decisions (Gwin, 2003, p.30). Brand positioning is the first stage of marcoms planning. "Before the manager can make a reasonable decision about where the brand should be headed via its marcoms, the manager first has to decide - to change, if necessary, or to shore up and reconfirm - the brand's positioning" (Rossiter, 2005, p.32).…
