Observation:
Danzel observes his green bean plant. He takes his seed journal and checks the calendar. He says to himself, “Today is day 7”. He sits on the chair and writes 7 in his seed journal. He looks at his plant. The teacher asks him, “What is the name of your bean?” He replies, “Green bean”. He continues his drawing. He draws two young plants in a container. He says, “My plant is tall. Both plants have two leaves”. After completing his drawing, he explains, “All the way below is the water, above the water is cotton” The teacher asks him, “Where are the roots?” He says, “I cannot see the roots, so I didn’t draw”
