Citizenship has traits and responsibilities that goes along with being a American Citizen. People can hardly can work together in anything in society without them. Honesty is a really important trait of citizenship. Respect is something all Americans and Christians should have. Compassion is really easy to take but can be really hard to give.
Honesty can describe people’s personality. Honesty is almost the same thing as integrity. Integrity is not the most important but is still really important. People may get away with not being Honest on Earth but the father above known’s everything. An example of showing Honesty is when someone got a answer on a test but missed a problem that they got right. That person should go to the teacher and tell her that you should mark it wrong. People might get rewarded for their Honesty. Exodus 20:16 says, “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor”.
Respect is something that everybody should have. Most Americans contain respect, they might not always have it but at times people might. When people don’t treat others with respect people might think bad about them. An example when a away fan is at a game and the home fans are talking trash after they won after the game. The person should go over and say good game to them? Romans 13:7 says” Render to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor”.
Compassion is given even if a person doesn’t deserve it. Mostly people decide to give another person compassion depending on there situation. Compassion might be hard to give but is really easy to take. An Example of when a person should show compassion is when an American is a teacher and a student turns in a paper late but they should take into consideration that she was in the hospital last night so they don’t count it late. Proverbs 19:17 says
