Assessment overview
The purpose of this unit is to provide the learner with knowledge, understanding and skills to promote active support to increase an individual’s participation in tasks and activities. It is aimed at those whose role includes planning, monitoring and providing direct support and assistance to individuals.

Holistic Assessment
If your assessor considers you have already provided evidence to meet these learning outcomes it will not be necessary for you to repeat the tasks. If the learning outcomes have been partially met your assessor will advise you on any additional evidence you need to provide.
