The Large vs. the Lame In the present time, many people who live in small towns want to move in the city; therefore, there are many reasons to justify this choice. The larger job opportunities and schooling are just a few. First off living in the city is beneficial for education; city education is for adults as well as children. Most of the excellent schools and universities are found in large cities. Instructors also come from around the world to teach their specific major.
The commute for school is a short distance, rather than in the country schooling and universities are much harder to find; even though country schooling is peaceful, it would also consist mostly of farm work, and the commute could be extremely pricy. The traveling method of both locations is extremely different. Traveling in the city is very easy and not as costly as in the country. In order to get somewhere in the city, people have to attain a taxi, which means not having to pay for gas and car insurance. Walking is the best choice for those in the city; while walking in the city is much easier; it also helps people get the recommended exercise. On the other hand, in the country traveling is twice as hard, and gas for the diesel trucks is twice as of expensive. Things in the country are a good distance away, so it makes the route for driving longer. In the country, grocery stores are far from home; driving in the country is almost always needed for any errand. In addition, another difference is the crowded life. Cities are always busy, and the streets are crowded with different styles of people, transportation, and buildings. Living in the city means never having a lonely mind, or a lack of adventure; a friend will always be a walk away. Being totally opposite of the city, miles of farmland; having to travel a long distance to have fun, and friends are a drive away, rather than a walk.
