She felt as though it was unfair that only men got to play a role in the government and so she did what she felt was right and held a peaceful protest with a whole group of women who also wanted equality. While in the process of that she got her moment to shine when a president was on stage and she decided to join him but was soon arrested afterward because she was not allowed to have a say.
