Demonic possession is no laughing matter – but if you find yourself pitted against one of the 13 most dangerous demons in Hell, watch out! Anton Szandor LaVey, the former High Priest of the Church of Satan, listed the most powerful of Lucifer’s minions in his notorious book, The Satanic Bible. “Theologians have cataloged some of the names of devils in their lists of demons, but the roster which follows contains the names most effectively used in Satanic ritual,” wrote LaVey, known to his followers as The Black Pope. In addition to what he called the “crown princes” of Hell (Satan, the fallen angel Belial and the destructive sea monster Leviathan) LaVey lists other vicious demons who also occupy the “Royal Palace of…
On September, 22nd, 1995 a legend was born. Her name was Alexis Elizabeth Taparrotta, and she was one of those lucky people who is born kicking but doesn’t stop. Alexis started playing soccer at the age of three. Her parents signed her up at such a young age so she would always have a lead on other potential legends. Alexis had a weird obsession with soccer. Every single thing she owned either had something to do with soccer or had a soccer ball on it. She had a soccer bed set, books, balls that went on the ceiling that would glow in the dark when the lights were off, posters, clothes, every possible jersey worn by a soccer player. She also had every single world cup soccer ball in the…

She also holds the distinction of becoming the first woman to qualify for the city finals, a feat she completed in season 5 of the show.…

Laurent Clerc was a deaf person. His full name is Louis Laurent Marie Clerc. Laurent was born in 1785, on December 26th. Surprisingly, he was born in Paris France. His family was wealthy and his parents had good jobs. His dad, Joseph Francois, was civil attorney and his mom was a magistrate. He lost his hearing by simply falling out of a high chair and landing in a fireplace at a young age. He never believed that this actually happened; he thought he was born deaf even though his accident caused a scar on his face. Laurent’s incident also caused him to lose his sense of smell. Although, no one is completely sure if Laurent was born with these deformities or not, the damages are believed to be caused from the incident.…
Kayla Cloward died October 28th due to blunt force trauma to the head in a car crash at the age of 14, and was born March 17th. Kayla’s childhood was what you could call good. She lived in Blackfoot all her life, and never got a chance to experience what it’s like to live in another state, let alone a town. Sure, she had her up’s and down’s, but she did things without a care. Some would say her childhood was lovely, she had one younger brother and an older brother, and two caring parents who loved her dearly. When she was younger she played on a little hill by her house, and in the winter, her and her brother’s would often go sledding down it. Besides that little hill, she would often go on walks with her parents.…

The name of the artist I am researching is Claes Oldenburg. They were born in Stockholm Sweden on January 28, 1929. Their family life was mainly spent in USA, Chicago due his father’s occupation as a Swedish consul. Some of their early influences include working as a reporter, publishing drawings in magazines, painting pictures influenced by Abstract Expressionism, the writings of Sigmund Freud which helped Oldenburg to locate his inner self in his artwork, acquainting some artists in the pop art movement in 1956 and creating props and costumes for numerous Happenings helping him turn his interest from painting to three-dimensional work-environments as well as sculpture. They became an artist by studying at Yale University, in 1946-50, and…
Most of us have heard of Pierre Peladeau, a man who has built a multi-billion dollar company from a $1,500 loan. There is no doubt that he has achieved a lot during his life time and there is no doubt that a lot of it was good. For instance, he was known for donating millions to charities and even visiting dying strangers in Montreal hospitals to bolster their spirits. However, I believe that the bad things he did overshadow the good. He was involved in several controversies, the most famous being the anti-Semitic remarks made against the Jewish community. There were also some sexist comments about business women. In the following I will explain why, in my opinion, Pierre Peladeau is not a good role-model for Business students.…

A man worthy of such an award, who put his life at risk to save many. Peter in my opinion planned the escape of the Rosen family. From the very start when Peter showed up in the middle of the night, I believe he was creating his plan and working with the Resistance. Plus, he came up with a plan to stop the dogs from tracking human scent. His story is truly heartbreaking, but he died a hero…
Paris 36 starts with confession by the protagonist Pigoil(Gérard Jugnot) to a police officer, accused of murder. It turns to a flashback to the year 1936 depicting the unstable district in a Paris faubourg, suffered from depression and the rising pool of involuntary unemployment. Pigoil has lost his lifetime job in a liquidated musical hall and his wife runs off with another man. More miserably, Pigoil cannot keep the custody of his beloved son- JoJo(Maxence Perrin) because of his financial inability. Struggling to hold on, the trio of experienced stagehands- Pigoil, with Milou (Clovis Cornillac) and Jacky (Kad Merad) decide to take over the vacant musical hall, named as Faubourg 36, and produce some sorts of hit musicals. With the arrival…
Crêpes are now one of the most famous French desserts, and can be filled with anything. This dessert is crêpes stacked one on top of the other and homemade chocolate sauce in between each layer. It is a classic French dessert and originated in the 1800s, in Brittany, France. Many people look at it as a really thin pancake or a galette, which is really similar to a crêpe. There are many different forms of crêpes as well, such as the crêpes sucrées (sweet crêpes), the Mille crêpe (thousand layer crêpe cake), and the crêpes salées (savory galette).…
