Chapter 1
Clara Schumann was born on September 13,1819 Leipzig Germany. She died on May 20,1896 in Frankfurt German Empire. She attended Leipzig University for college. When Clara was younger she was taught how to play piano by her father. Her father's name was Friedrich Wieck and her mother's name was Marianne Wieck. Clara was married to Robert Schumann and they had eight kids who were named Emil, Marie, Elise, Julie, Ludwig, Ferdinand, Eugenie, and Felix. She played the piano and the violin. It could represent her life because her life was normally pretty happy but at times it could be sad. Happy moments like when she was only eleven years old she left on a concert to Paris and other European cities, with her father. A sad moment could be when Clara watched four of her children die right in front of her. Or when she watched her husband die right in front of her. At the end of her songs they are quiet. It may mean that the end of her life was sad
Some of the characters that could be represented in the music are her kids. They were one of the most important things in her life. Her husband was also most likely a character in her music. When you hear her music it sounds like it was almost meant for her family.

CHAPTER 3
I listened to Clara's music and i didn’t hear any voices and not very many instruments. I only heard piano and violin in certain parts of the music. The tempo of the song was slow then fast. Her music would be slow then speed up then slow again. File:Clara Schumann
