1. How do you know Joseph?

I supervised him for two years, school years- 2014-15 & 2015-16

2. What were your experiences like working with Joseph?

Joseph is a pleasant individual who is dedicated to help his students grow academically and succeed in school. He works well with his colleagues and continues to hone his skills as a pedagogue.

3. What are Joseph’s greatest strengths?

He works hard to get the job done. Over two years, I saw him grow in Danielson 1e- Planning and designing lesson, 3b- Questioning and discussion, 3c- Engaging students in learning, and 3d- Assessment.

4. What is Joseph’s biggest area for growth?

He still needs to work on creating entry points for all learners and fostering a classroom discussion that is led by students.

What is your experience like with Joseph’s ability to take and use critical feedback?

Joseph takes a learner’s stance when he receives feedback from his supervisors or his colleagues. He tries to implement the feedback that was suggested to him and asks for what other ways he can improve.
