Classroom Observation In HLTA

As a HLTA there will be times when you will have carry out added responsibilities unsupervised sometimes , one of these task will be undertaking observations , whole class , small groups or individual children and young people .
When observing children and young people you must make sure that classroom observation is developmental and supportive and that those who are involved in this process will be able to carry out the role with professional, integrity and courtesy; seek to reach agreement in advance on classroom observation to be carried out, make your evaluations objectively , make your report accurately and fairly and at all times respect the confidentiality of the information you gain.
