If you are planning lazy days relaxing or exciting parties by the pool this summer, consider hiring the professionals to prepare your pool for this upcoming season.
Cleaning 101

In addition, it may appear cloudy. While unappealing, green algae in your pool is also dangerous to your health. Swimming in a pool with green algae will not only irritate your skin and eyes, but also cause other illnesses.
Fortunately, professionals can remove visible debris from the pool and add an algaecide to the water. This will rid the pool of the harmful algae while also preventing any future growth over the summer season.
If your pool was completely shut down for the summer, all plumbing and electrical connections will need to be reinstated. Professionals can replace filters, reconnect the pump, and reinstate the pool heater if you have one.
Pool Safety 101
After cleaning and reinstalling elements of your pool, you will need to focus on safety. Fencing is legally required around pools, so spend some time inspecting your fence. Make sure the gates all have operating locks, preventing children from entering the pool without your permission or supervision.
Be sure ladders and slides are mounted securely to ensure they operate in a safe, effective manner. Pool cleaning service Frisco also recommends creating a pool safety kit that will be kept around the pool area. The kit should include the following:

Microcystis is a form of cyanobacteria, which is not a true form of algae but a more photosynthetic bacteria (Dalogul, 4). High levels of algae accumulate on the surface of lakes producing large blanket like abundance of algae called blooms (Borre, 1). Environmental impacts caused by algae can be seen through low oxygen conditions produced from the decay of excessive amounts of algal growth. When the conditions permit it (often during warm weather), the algae form at a more substantial rate and facilitate a toxic bloom. Blooms do occur naturally, however they become enriched with nutrients (phosphorus fertilizer run off) from industrial and agricultural influences (Dalogul, 3). Powerful toxins produced can travel through the food web of a marine ecosystem and affect seabirds, marine animals and humans, which potentially can be fatal (Seaweb, 2). Humans can contract aliments from the algae as well, by breathing air borne toxins by coming in contact with it physically or consuming contaminated shellfish. There are two types of toxins produced by Microcystis: Neurotoxins and Hepato-toxins These toxins affect surrounding ecosystems, and more specifically marine life of the Lake. Neurotoxins will affect nervous and respiratory systems, which cause muscle tremors, staggering and often within 30 minutes, death. Hepato-toxins, affect the liver, which results in a slow…
