RESULT AND DISCUSSION
In ClO2 Generator the performance like Air DBT, WBT cooling water inlet temperature, cooling water outlet temperature are vary according to ambient conditions. At the starting of procedure at the starting of experience i.e. on 2:00PM the reading of Air DBT, Air WBT, cooling inlet, cooling water outlet temperature are as follows:
At 2:00PM (i.e. starting procedure) all temperature readings are shown in table below.
Table 6.1 At 2:00PM (i.e. Starting Procedure) all Temperature Reading
Air DBT(0C) Air WBT(0C) Cooling Water Inlet Temperature(0C) Cooling Water Outlet Temperature(0C)

When the equipment runs for 24 hours and after the 24 hours we take another reading Air DBT, Air WBT, cooling water …show more content…
We are saving water in blow down process in ClO2 Generator because in ClO2 we used blow down process in every 4 days while in chemicals dosing we used daily blow down process and its needed more water for completing the operation. That’s why ClO2 in more beneficial and compatible as compared to chemical dosing.
The hourly variation of temperature for Air dry bulb temperature, wet-bulb temperature, cooling tower inlet temperature and cooling tower outlet temperature operating with ClO2 Generator for typical Summer day June- 2014 are given in table-1. From the table its seen that the evaporation losses , cycle of concentration and make-up water fluctuate the effectiveness of cooling tower compared with the at the time of manual chemicals doses. At 2:00PM in June 2014 the dry bulb temperature (DBT) is 320C, wet-bulb temperature is 240C, inlet temperature of cooling water is 30.80C and outlet temperature of cooling water is 27.80C, according to above temperature effectiveness is calculated with the help of mathematical formulae is 44%, water losses during the air is 2.75 m3/hr, in evaporation water is evaporated 1.32m3/hr during the losses make-up water is required is 8.47 …show more content…
Fig show the variation of the effectiveness with the wet bulb temperature, the different value of the wet bulb temperature (WBT), carried out different temperature (240C, 23.50C, 22.50C, 230C, next and other temperature are shown in above fig.). the above fig show that at the first point the effectiveness is 40% corresponding 240C of DBT, when other effectiveness is shown in above graph with different WBT temperature.
Fig6.1 Effectiveness with Air Wet Bulb Temperature Fig.6.2 shows that effectiveness increase randomly with the cooling water inlet temperature . Shows the graph of effectiveness and cooling water inlet temperature for one day June 2014 month of summer. The effectiveness is not more fluctuates according to cooling water inlet temperature, the minimum value of effectiveness is 29% corresponding 280C at the5:00PM and the maximum value of the effectiveness is 600C corresponding 27.80C at 11:00PM. Fig.6.2 Effectiveness with Cooling Water Inlet Temperature Fig.6.3 shows that the variation of effectiveness with range during 24 hours operations. The effectiveness randomly fluctuate according to atmospheric condition at starting point is 44% corresponding to range is
