1. History
Cloud Computing was first introduced in the 1960s by John McCarthy, He wrote, “computation may someday be organized as a public utility.”1
The first group to implement that concept was SalesForce.com in 1999 they introduce the concept of accessing and using Enterprise Application through the use of the Internet. 2
In 2002 Amazon started Amazon Web Services, providing services such as storage, computation and even human intelligence. But the true commercial service from Amazon open to everyone only launched on 2006 Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud. 3
In 2006 Google launched Google Docs; with this launch by Google it gives the public a sense of awareness. 4
2009 Google, the key turning point that changes the evolution of cloud computing, introduces Google Apps. 5
2009 onwards Microsoft, Oracle and many other companies joined in and started many different services. 6
From this we clearly see that cloud computing evolution started in the late 1990’s as it is due to the use of the internet speed, as the current internet providers capable in providing faster internet even on Mobile Phone such as technology 4G the Cloud Computing allows everyone with access to the internet easier.
2. Introduction
Cloud computing can be applied to almost everyday life, such as collaboration work like software development, no longer the need to send email to each other with the programming files that you have edited or even FTP up and down. Cloud Computing provided convenience to the users as it will auto download or upload the updated data for which ever computer is attach to it, example DropBox.
