EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Coca-Cola Corporation entered in Pakistan market in 1953 after purchasing local plant located in Karachi, Hyderabad, Gujranwala, and Sialkot. Now Company has 10 manufacturing plants in Pakistan. The company has plans to purchase more plants in the country to get a good hold in the market and compete with the rival, Pepsi.

Multan Beverages was established in year 1964 on Vehari road as a franchised unit for Coca-Cola Company. It supplies soft drink facilities to the people of Multan, D.G. Khan, Vehari and Khanewal. The factory produces 75% of Coke, 20 % Sprite, 4% Fanta. Company has a capacity cushion of 6 cycles per minute which is 240 bottles per minutes.

Coca Cola Pakistan selects its facility location on the basis of factors like: Sensitivity of the location, Impact on the company’s ability to meet its goals, Raw material availability, Proximity to consumers and Labor considerations.

The Production process at Multan beverages start from the Purchase and collection of bottles, then leads to the process of washing of bottles and water treatment and enters into the syrup manufacturing & filling of bottles and finally completing at loading, packing and delivery of the bottle crates.

Company gives special consideration to the quality of raw material,
