Coca-Cola Complaint Letter
President
The Coca-Cola Company
Box 1734
Atlanta GA 30301

To the President of Coca-Cola

Yesterday, April 8, 2013 I was drinking a can of Coca-Cola at school during lunch; when all of the sudden, I could feel something hard in my mouth. I spit the pop out as well as the hard object; there was a dead cockroach in my pop! I was immediately disgusted and embarrassed that I almost swallowed a dead cockroach. Everyone including friends and teachers saw this gross insect in my drink, and the principle of my school told me to immediately file a complaint letter to you.

I still have the cockroach and the can inside a plastic bag and pictures of it when it happened for if I decide to press charges against the company. I would not like to because I do like the company, but this was just a terrible time for me. If you would like me to send you the can and the pictures then I am okay with that. I believe that this is not fair to me that I had to go through this in front of my whole entire school. I think that I should get some sort of apology for this happening to me.

If I could get some sort of apology and maybe something else, then in return I will not press charges on the Coca-Cola industry. I do still like the beverage but I am questioning if I should still buy your products because I am a little nervous about this whole thing happening again. Anything nice would be much appreciated and the apology would be greatly accepted if I got one. If I get something for having this happen to me then I might consider continuing with drinking your beverage. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

The letter from Ira Herbert, an executive from Coca-Cola, shows how far major companies will go to protect their brands. Mr. Herbert is attempting to convince Mr. Seaver, the executive vice president of Grove Press, Inc., to stop using Coca-Cola’s slogan in advertising for Mr. Seaver’s book. Mr. Herbert writes with a very formal tone but also maintains a polite and understanding manner. He attempts to show how stopping Mr. Seaver’s use of the slogan will benefit both parties, and he gives supporting evidence to back up his argument by explaining the history behind the slogan in Coca-Cola’s advertising. However, the nature of the disagreement is too frivolous to convince Mr. Seaver to stop using the slogan.…

I see it! No way. It’s crawling briskly near me. That roach is coming closer and closer to my feet as if I had sugar all around it. I am alone and no one is in the house and I had to kill it. I had to try. I got a fly swatter and quietly tiptoed near the roach. As fast as the speed of lightning, I swatted the fly swatter on the roach, hearing a crunching sound. I have been courageous when I killed a roach because to kill a roach, I had to be still, I had to kill it with something, and I had to stay quiet; killing a roach is very arduous and challenging.…

Since the late 1990s, Coca-Cola has been embroiled in at least eight significant ethical dilemmas. The first came in June 1999 when Coca-Cola’s products were contaminated. Consumers in Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg became sick after using Coca-Cola products. Coca-Cola mismanaged the problem and downplayed it. Then over 100 people became sick in France and months later in Poland with water contaminated with mold. In each of these events, Coca-Cola did not react in a timely fashion or with the appropriate concern for public health, but eventually conceded that it was their contamination problem.…

Coca-Cola has faced legal action by workers before. In 2001, it was sued by union laborers in Colombia for violence against unionized workers. The allegations are not true” (PBS). The company paid more…

The reporting party (RP) reported group home child Tommy Suh age 11 DOB: 1/6/05 had the smell of marijuana on his clothing last week (the exact date was not specified) while exiting the bus. According to the RP this was an isolated incident. The RP spoke with a previous group home employee who confirmed a staff smoked "weed" while she was working in the facility. For the past month, Tommy has arrived to school with a cluster of bug bites on his body. Consequently the group home has used insecticide to rid the facility of the bed bugs. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to have worked. The RP contacted the group home who believes the child received the bites from his father's home. Yesterday, October 31, 2016 Tommy arrived to school with a rash…
