1 Executive Summary

In accordance with the lean startup approach, Jom Kopi is now under sole proprietorship, but franchising potential is very high and in our plans for expansion.
Introduction
Jom Kopi is a subsidiary business of Kopi Express Sdn. Bhd., which is the first, foremost and only mobile coffee and tea joint in Malaysia. Jom Kopi expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with our broad variety of coffee and foodstuff served fast and conveniently. We aim to target the demographic of customers(mostly working-class) that need light meals on the go and convenient.

The Company
Jom Kopi will be incorporated in the state of Penang. It is solely owned by founder Mr.Keith Tan and will be managed by his founding team of 8. Customer service and day-to-day operations will be hadled by the founding team.

Products and Services
Jom Kopi offers a broad range of coffee, foodstuff and beverages, all made from natural organic sources. We will partner with a local organic bakery to distribute their cakes, pastries and bread. The bakery provides freshly prepared bakery and pastry products at all times during business operations.

The Market
The F&B industry has always held an important role in Malaysia’s market, and according to the sector performance 2012-2014, the growth in restaurant segment that includes the franchisees in the F&B sector had grew in 9.4% to 235 franchisees at the end of June 2013. As for import performance, the imports of food and beverages holds 20% in the ‘Gross Imports by End Use January-August’ report as the amount of funds used to expand it is approximately RM 30.9 million. Compared to 2012, the growth in imports of food and beverages is steadily increasing and supporting its strong growth is the 5.3% increase in the total import of consumption goods .
