Coffin Ship Letter
Although I had to leave behind many of my possessions, and friends and family, I could potentially leave my life of poverty as well. Living in the coffin ship was a terrible experience. The ship was crowded and smelled bad. Living quarters were tight and congested, many people got sick . Just a couple of weeks in, people were already dying off and I was worried if I were to also be taken by sickness. The waves and storms tossed the ship back and forth so no one dared to go up on deck. It was very dirty inside and the stench of all the people stuffed inside the ship made it harder to breathe. Finally, after over a month, and after the health inspection, I was getting closer and closer to my new home.
Land
My land is slightly towards the eastern area. It is in the middle of the concessions, it is a flat, settlement lot which is very arable. However, there is no river going directly through my own plot of land, therefore I will have to borrow from a nearby lot. South and east of our land, there are Clergy Reserves so schooling wouldn’t be an issue. Luckily, I can have two roads going along the west and south borders of my lot which would make transporting goods and trading a lot more easy and accessible.

Making sure that there are no obstacles on my farming land is crucial. Building the roads within this time span is very important as well. Also, I will look for people in the area who I can trade with. As I don’t have everything necessary to survive, I would need assistance from others through exchanges. Getting to know the people around me and establishing a relationship would help me greatly. Additionally, starting my job as a weaver is a necessary step to earn money for my
