While everyone attitudes can change in an instant, seeking out those possible consistencies as to our conduct and views will put things back into prospective in- regard to our attitudes; we just did to be aware of our inner cognitive behaviors to be cognitively consistent otherwise we become assertive and uncontrollable. “According to Festinger, we hold many cognitions about the world and ourselves; when they clash, a discrepancy is evoked, resulting in a state of tension known as cognitive dissonance” (Mc Leod, 2008). Consequently, when this becomes unacceptable to our eyes, we tend to find alternative ways to drive ourselves away from the unpleasantness; and attain harmony once again. One positive result into correcting this is to ultimately change our actions, elevate the distraction; and justify our principles by applying new mental perceptions as to our behavioral state. “For example, when you are forced to sell Lobster to your customers, but know the quality of the product does not meet company standards; yet you tell the customer it’s the best you’ve ever had by literally hiding the truth. Though, everyone as mood swing, attitudes, and changes in behavior from time to time, knowing how to persuade the cognitive mind into making a bad situation into a good is not an easy task; it takes skill and encouragement through the art of persuasion and trustworthiness. Therefore, manager need to be attentive to situations that arise in a working, and find alternative methods to introduce change; will using persuasive measures to route the ineffectiveness into a more positive attribute. If these characteristics are applied with these suggestion in mind then managers, individual, co-workers will continue to have consistency with their behavior, and no how to change their inconsistency while avoiding dissonance.
