WHAT IS HAPPENING?

“The NFL season is barely underway, but already the focus is being taken away from the field and directed at the sidelines,” says CNN. Colin Kaepernick, QB on the 49ers has commenced a protest in which he kneels down during the national anthem before his football game. He describes that he doesn’t want to stand for a country that “opposes black people and people of colour.” By kneeling down he is representing the fact that, he doesn’t respect a such country. The public’s perspective and rejoinder on this concern is sweet and sour. Some citizens are totally with Kaepernick furthermore supporting him by kneeling as well. On the other hand, many are totally against him in belief of how this is very disrespectful

Although, I understand he stood up for what he believed in, I’m just not falling for this heroic act! First of all, on a list of the most multicultural countries of the world America is 92nd, this means there is probably a lot of racist acts in other countries than America. Just because the media doesn’t tell us about them doesn’t mean they don’t occur. Furthermore, you don’t know if he is just doing this for attention. Everyone seeks attention, we are just believing what is written in articles and mentioned in the media. This is all observation about the occurrence that we are being told, no one knows the absolute truth. There is no proof for either side. Lastly, many people are saying, leave him alone he is standing up for what he believes in. The thing is he is protesting he is doing this against America, he shouldn’t be doing that \ owing to the fact that the whole human race is racist IT’S NOT JUST AMERICA. Think about ISIS a huge act of prejudice against the religion someone believes in or their personal opinion. As well as the Nazi’s trying to kill off the Jewish all the way back in history. If he wants so protest it shouldn’t be against America but against racism itself. In fact, he should stand up for the national Anthem and be thankful for the fact that he lives a good life in America and the racism isn’t nearly as it has been and still is in other
