A cause-effect essay
Final Draft An Affordable College Nowadays most of students after graduating high school start to think and infer which college or university will offer education and affordable tuition. Some future students decide on its prestige, well known student life, or the distance from home to school. When I graduated from high school, I had to decide stay in my native country and study at the university or come over to the United States of America. I chose being in the USA and study at Lone Star College for many reasons. First reason why I chose to attend this college is the unique distance. I would say I drive from my house to school approximately for 3 minutes or even can take a walk for 10 minutes. That is amazing when you get to school in a couple minutes and you do not have to stick in permanent heavy traffic in the morning or afternoon. When school is close to the house, students will not have problems with attendance. Another reason was incredibly low tuition fee because it is pretty minor for international students. Even when student has financial problems, this college has all financial helps. For instance, scholarships and loans are available for students. All these financial help open doors for every student who is interested in being educated. Finally I chose this college because all my major classes are in one campus. My prospective major is petroleum engineering, so I spend lots of time in the library studying math and other subjects. I am very lucky that I do not need to waste my precious time being stuck in traffic before I get from one campus to another. Lone Star College is the best community college and I suggest for future students choose very carefully their colleges or universities. There are lots of colleges with their unique teachers and students and it is not easy to make a decision.

Spoon River College is a small community school compared to the others because there are not as many students going to classes at the same time to where as at a bigger college or university, you see many students commuting between classes, there are not as many classrooms at Spoon either, there is plenty of room and no student has to feel “cramped” . I like how the classrooms are large enough for all students to have “elbow” room.…

The first reason I choose Southwest Community College is because it is affordable. Many teenagers have taken on the responsibility of living on their own. This means that they have their own bills to pay for. Money is hard to come by and college is not cheap. Southwest offers many financial options and scholarships for students. Four year colleges and universities tuition can cost up to forty thousand dollars, but at Southwest you can take two years of college that will equal up to or even less than a year at a four year university. A lot of colleges that teenagers will attend have to pay for parking. They…

I considered this collage due to their high enrollment numbers of 500 per year and the room and board are absolutely beautiful and not too expensive at the price of 39,000 per year and that’s very important to me. This collage offers 10 different degrees in each course you take! That is amazing, you can take two different courses and still graduate on time, you can still major in each of those fields as well. The part that really jumped out at me was the extra curriculums such as, power sport engine testing, test driving, electrical engineering, and lunch of your choice at your choice of…

At first, Orange Coast College offers experienced professors with different teaching methods for different learners, as well as various lectures and labs that are often transferable to other institutions (3). My older sister, who graduated from Orange Coast College and transferred to UC Irvine one year ago, tells me that I could learn to appreciate how much the professors at this school care for me compared to UC's. Plus, administrators, faculty, and staff are committed to the development of students as individuals and as citizens of the world. There's lots of resources here especially their outstanding tutoring center. I used to come here all the time when I was stuck on homework questions. Their tutors are really knowledgeable. Moreover, Student Services have always been really cool when I needed things and I think the counselors are pretty good, reliable and very helpful…

Choosing to attend Rock Valley College was not a hard decision for me. It was always one of my top choices when I was deciding on where I would go to continue my education. I ended up choosing RVC over my other options for a few reasons. One reason is that RVC is in Rockford and close to home. After considering all my options, I realized I was not ready to leave home yet. I felt as though I would need a transitional period to help me adjust to college life and RVC would be the perfect place for that. Another reason is the price of RVC. This was a big factor for me because I did not have much financially to afford to go off to a four-year college immediately. Rock Valley gave me the option to take classes that I would take at a four- year for…
