College Admissions Essay: A Career As A Student
Throughout my entire career as a student, I have put into my mind that I need to do the best I can, so that I can be accepted into a great college and receive scholarships. I worked hard every year so that I could earn great grades to raise my GPA. I am now ranked fourth in my class. I selected challenging and advanced courses , so that I could increase my GPA even more. Every year I took classes that were honors or AP. I chose not to focus on the easy elective options, and instead I chose to take more difficult classes that would help me for the future and that were directed towards my career choice. I took all the medical courses and became a CNA and CMAA my junior year. Usually the CNA class is taken by seniors, but I took this challenging class as a junior and I …show more content…
I have been a dedicated student. I try to do the best I can, so that I can excel at being a student. I want to be a successful student; I want to achieve my goals. Every year I strive to be as successful as I can because I know that it will help me to be successful in the future. Each year, I have the goal to do my best and to try my hardest because I know that I need to earn scholarships. Going forward into college will not change my work ethics, if anything they will improve.My goals and expectations for college will change to focus on my career and grades, instead of getting good grades to get into college. My education is extremely important to me and I take school very seriously. I have have work hard and done my absolute best. I have done everything I could to be academically successful, so that I could say I deserve a PHSC Foundation Scholarship.     I set a goal for myself, which was to improve my overall GPA each quarter. Slowly, but surely, I was getting better grades and boosting my GPA. Junior year was my best year academically.
