A salient feature behind this decision, is my wish to keep up a holistic approach towards my education. I’ve always had multiple intellectual interests, and I believe that studying an array of subjects thematically, fosters a constructivist ideal, allowing you to make connections between different concepts, resulting in a more meaningful education.
In addition to this, my decision to transfer to Cornell stems from my appetite to face a more challenging academic environment. I’m always the enthusiastic student with a raised hand, along with many questions and insightful observations that I was ready to expatiate about outside the classroom. Whether discussing human rights or climate change, to issues such as the shrinking American industrial base, the decline of trade unionism, or the impact of collective bargaining on productivity in America, my passion and savvy has always shone through, and I would like to be among students with the same
