Chris helped me start a mountain bike team in Victoria, and about six high school students joined the team. At the end of my sophomore season, I placed 5th overall out of 45 riders. Ever since then, I got better in the sport of cycling.During my senior year, while working two jobs, I got scouted for a cycling scholarship. I was the first high school student in Victoria to ever receive a scholarship like that. Chris taught me how to be productive and work hard for what you get. Him meeting my mom gave me the opporttmity to be someone.Moving out of my home town gave me the opportunity to meet people. If Chris didn't continue to help me in cycling, I would have never gotten the opportunity to receive a cycling scholarship to go out of state. If my parents were still together, I wouldn't have gotten to experience this great opportunity of sharing this
