College Experience of Commuters and Students in Campus Dorm
Student life is full of struggle and adventure. We can observe student going through different situations of various crises like financial, stay and other educational facilities during study period. Students have two choices to continue their education. Ether they can choose their house or college dorm. According to statistics it is found that many American students prefer dorm life to life back home or apartment. Students move from homes to dorm to escape the stress of parents, siblings and their very own house and neighborhood. Majority of the students move to achieve success, some for enjoyment and others to experience new place to call home. There are some students who find the new life in college to be struggle, and stressful but for some it is an enjoyable event and a lifetime opportunity to stay in college dorm. I have experienced both the ways of life in college dorm and as a commuter. Two difference of college experience of commuter and students who live in dorms on campus are less parental pressure and being independent; two similarities are boring situations and matter of studies.
I am one of those students who have grown up in dorms in my early educational life. Since I came to the United States I have had both of those experienced. I find that life at college dorm is by far, better than life at home or apartment. Especially Parents, jobs, and siblings are never a problem here for me, and I find it very relaxing. My parents are not here to tell me what to do, where to go, where not to go, or anything like that. My parents are always obstacles to whatever I do or say at home but I miss them sometimes. You depend on your parents at home, more so than you do now. But what I found out is that your parents still supply you with everything, so you really get the best of both worlds.
