College Is Worth It

Is there ever a thought in your head if college is really worth your time? I am here to say that college is worth it. College is worth it because of the higher education and outcome of going to college which is having a fantastic job and making thousands or millions of dollars. College will help a person get so far in life because they would have a higher education. Going to college will have you making thousand or million of dollars and you be able to live a luxuries life, going on vacation, buying a house, and buying a new car. The outcome of going to college is having a lower unemployment rate. In the paragraph “Education Stills Pays Off,” it mention that “Workers with more education have lower unemployment and higher earnings than workers with less education.” (64) The Author from “Education Stills Pays Off,” mention how going to college will have you more secure in a job than those without going to college. According to Andrew J. Rotherham he stated in a paragraph, “in 2010, the unemployment rate was 9.2% for those with only some college and more than 10% for those with just a high school degree, but it was 5.4% for college graduates.” (84) The paragraph shows how only 5.4% of college graduates were unemployed and 9.2% with some college and more than 10% for those with no college we
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, in 1010, Andrew Rotherham said that, “the median weekly earnings for someone with some college but no degree is about $712 compared to about $1028 for a college graduate.” (85) If a person goes to college and graduate they earn more than a person having some college but not graduating college. Going to college will be one of the most hardest decisions a student will make because they will have to decide whether they want college in their future or no
