In colombia there is a large variety of plants and animals to find most of which are in the rainforest.Colombia’s national flower is the orchid cattleya trianae. Some other examples of vegetation that grows here are: coffee plants, cocoa trees, banana trees, and the wax palm. There are hundreds thousands of species of more species plants of plants. Animals
Colombia is home to hundreds of species of animals from the capybara to the glass frog. Capybara are one of the largest rodents in the world, and the glass frog is a tree frog with transparent skin. Some species of glass frogs have become endangered because of habitat loss. Habitat loss is a big problem in rainforests because it destroys the homes of many of the animals that live there.
Some other examples of animals that live in colombia are the andean condor, spectacled bear, mountain tapir, and the Indigo-capped hummingbird.
