Yes the conclusions match the results of the study. The conclusion answers the research questions in the definition of the problem. For example the research looked at if the insurance status or even the family history could be a part why African Americans where diagnosed and died from Colon Cancer. Colon Cancer was that many participants had mentioned a family history of cancer. Also many Page 4 participants accepted that having cancer in their family affected the risk of getting cancer themselves. A few participants stated that family history decreased their risk based on gender or generational status of the affected family members. The study also spoke about African American participants that were uninsured. Many African Americans are uninsured and according to the findings 55.3% were without health insurance. 3.0% of African Americans are not decided. There are benefits to screenings but there are also risks to having screenings done when they are not needed. The conclusions are appropriate for the study. The information that was giving made the reader look at colon cancer a lot different. This type of cancer can be prevented if the right precautions are taken.
The study to me also should have made the readers or even the participants think more about what to do when certain issues arise. The researcher also gave enough information about Colon Cancer and also different names for the cancer, to look for. I believe there is enough information to make a decision on the effectiveness of the study. I also believe that the study is effective. The percentages added up and also the researcher not only gave descriptive information about the study but the information was valid.
