According to “Kids’ Room Color Wisdom: How Colors Affect Behavior”, colors have the potential to inspire, excite, soothe, heal, and even agitate human beings. The article breaks down how pink, purple, blue, red, and other colors have the potential to affect behavior. Pink has the possibility to calm down both sexes. However, most boys are not attracted to pink(Hammond 15). Purple symbolizes royalty, but it also symbolizes sensitivity, compassion, and inspiration in children. Blue, the dominant color for boys, decreases feelings of anxiety and aggression and also lowers blood pressure and heart rates(Hammond 3). Red has the ability to energize the body, excite the mind, and increase heart and breathing rates. Colors are important because they can sway thinking, change actions, and cause reactions.…

However, according to a research study trends in color palettes chosen for a health care facility design do not have anything link them to the patient 's health care issue. There is not enough evidence to indicate that a specific color(s) will have any form of emotional or mental impact on a patient. Although some cultures may associate a specific color to meaning something, in other cultures it may not mean anything (Young, 2007). This research study clearly indicates that colors do not have any links with emotional triggers or patient health outcomes, but it does have to do with a patient’s cultural background as well as his or her psychological and physiological nature (Young, 2007). Although the color study does not have any evidence-based to indicate that one color is better than another in a health care facility, it does indicate that color in a healthcare environment is important (Young,…

There are many traits which I have that co-respond with the blue card. Sympathetic is a key trait in which I use when describing myself to others. When I watch movies, I put myself into various characters positions and I tend to cry if they are put in or dealing with stressful situations. I find myself doing this not only with fictional characters, but with my friends as well. Another trait from the blue card in which I associate myself with is enthusiasm . I tend to become very excited about various events. I believe that compassion walks hand in hand with sympathy therefor I believe I am compassionate as well. As I mentioned, I cry when my friends or fictional characters are put in stressful situations. In addition to crying, I try my best to help or pretend to help with the situation. I give my best advice and give them an example of how I felt in a similar situation and how it turned out. I like to believe it helps them in one way or another. . I enjoy talking about my past experiences, my life journey, and anything in between. There are many more traits from the blue card that I associate myself with, however these 4 are the words I found to be the most obvious.…

Antiadrenergics: These medications increase blood pressure by stimulating the heart and/or constricting peripheral blood vessels. (Olson, J., 2012).…
Hypertension, high blood pressure, is a condition in which the force exerted by blood as it presses against the walls of the blood vessels is high enough to risk damaging those vessels. In a normal system a rise in blood pressure triggers pressure sensitive nerve cells in certain blood vessels called baroreceptors to send impulses to the brain. The brain responds to these signals by sending impulses to the heart to decrease in rate and to the vessels to dilate. In this case the baroreceptors are the receptor, the brain is the control center, and the heart and vessels are the effector. A breakdown or malfunction in any one of these areas will cause a rise in blood pressure that requires medical intervention.…
