Introduction Career building is paramount for success in the workforce. There are multiple attributes to which a person should obtain. Examples of these attributes consist of effective communication, management, decision making, problem solving, and leadership. In congruence with these attributes, professionals utilize career building tools. The Colorado State University-Global Campus Student Career Center offers a wide range of these instrumental resources which focus on Finding a Job, Landing a Job, and Keeping a Job. There are multiple components involved which pertain to setting a foundation to build from. At Colorado State University-Global Campus, the Student Career Center focus on assisting individuals through three fundamental starting points. These are Finding a Job, Landing a Job, and Keeping a Job. Each area is set up to educate, illustrate, and connect individuals towards a professional career path. Both active students and alumni, have access to unparalleled information by navigating through this resource center. Primarily individuals tend to manage a balanced life more efficiently when they understand their essential attributes and how to apply them. Within the Student Career Center there are numerous resources for self evaluation which are valuable to individuals both personally and professionally. These assessments focus on peoples values, skill sets, ideal work environments, and financial needs. They also help to motivate as well as create direction when selecting a career. Under the values section of the Personal and Career Evaluations page, individuals can complete a value rating worksheet, or an online value sorting test provided by Stewart, Cooper & Coon. These exams help allocate and prioritize individuals professional values. Contemplating and structuring a well balanced core value system is essential for career
