ABSTRACT
The proposed work design project offers a solution to the overcrowding problem caused by students who gather at the inadequate number of cafeterias at the university during lunchtime, cannot find any tables to sit and eat, and consequently cannot make it to their classes on time.
The Project also provides solution for another equally significant problem of the students who accommodate at the dormitory, and cannot find anything to eat in the evening, (unless they cook themselves which causes a lot of waste of time especially when they should be studying for midterms or final exams), because dormitory’s Sultan Cafe is open only until 8.30 p.m.
Several surveys have been conducted with 100 students, approximately 60% of the students staying at the dormitory, and the results pointed out that majority of the students are unsatisfied with the taste of current dishes in consideration of the high prices, and also complainant about the inadequacy of cafes and tables. The simulated studies and mathematical methods cited the progress that the offered implementation would make, such as the significant decrease in time wasted during lunch-time and decrease in order-ins during dinner-time, as a result of this also a lot of saved money for the students. Therefore putting this project in practice is going to be beneficial both financially and psychologically for the students and the professors of the university and for the employees especially who work at the dormitory.
