Comfort Zone Analysis
In this model there are three zones, at first the comfort zone, after that the learning zone and at least the panic zone. When you are getting out of your comfort zone you arrive in the learning zone, just across the border. In this area it is possible to grow, to learn, to be curious and explore your possibilities. Being in this area feels exciting but the safety comfort zone is only one step behind you. A trainer or coach will bring you in this area. By for example; practicing parasailing when you have not done this before. At first it feels uncomfortable and unpleasant in this new zone, this is called ‘the groan zone’. When a person is more often in this area it will be more and more comfortable, you learn to feel comfortable in strange situations. In order to expand your worldview and you do this while you will learn new things, reaching your point of view and getting to know other cultures.
Hereafter is the panic zone. In this area you will be blocked by fear, as a result you can not learn anything new. Probably you will have no pleasure in activities you perform when you are in this zone.

This model shows the differences between the zones and the connection to each other. It is important to make clear the meaning of this concepts to understand when you are getting in or out you comfort zone and what

The way people behave can not be genetically determined, right?! Nature and nurture are the movers and shapers, they make us what we are today, according to Harris, J. (1998)2 . Nature versus nurture is a much discussed topic, in psychology as well. There are a lot of theories about the question if we were formed by our genes or the environment where we live.     Behavior is the visible aspect of a person that reflects who they are as people. Nurture can in fact, affect an individual’s behavior. If an individual was raised in an environment that had certain influences on them then most likely they will behave according to it. Dr. John Money believed “that sexual identity is a result of environment rather than biological factors – the way a child is treated, the toys a child is given and the expectations parents have of a child” (Bain, 2001, para.4). An individual will become accustom to the ways he/she is treated and have been brought up so that will determine their gender behaviour.
