Never! For one, no one should ever break the rules, yet Zits does this and tries to run away from his mistakes. In the book, Flight, Zits is a foster child who moves around like wild fire. He is a 16 year-old who doesn’t follow the rules and doesn’t respect anyone, even himself. One day, Zits is told to go into a bank and shoot everyone, but just as he is about to do it, he time travels back to 1987. Throughout the many events he witnesses, he learns how to respect himself and Come of Age in the process. But first, Zits does not seem to Come of Age because he does not seem to accept the rules and be responsible for his actions. This is shown when, “‘ Hey young man,’ the foster mother says. ‘We have rules around here. And rule number one is be nice.’ ‘Whatever’” (Alexie 13). Zits does not accept the laws of society; therefore, he does not Come of Age in which he does not respect the laws and feels that they do not apply to
