Which is not a bad thing, sometimes it is in your best interest to keep the knowledge of your sexuality away from your parents. Here is an example of someone I helped on Instagram a long time ago: Let’s just call him Bill. Bill is attending college and knows that his parents are very religious – to the point of publicly discriminating gays. Bill himself, however, is gay. Bill is not able to attend college without the financial help of his parents, and he knows that if they found out – they’d potentially cut the college funding and Bill’s future would forever be impacted.
