Important Aspects of Nursing
Introduction
The subject nursing can be very challenging. To be a great nurse, you have to have good qualities, knowledge and qualifications to be considered an effective nurse. There are a lot of things that nurses have to remember about nursing that are important for nurses to incorporate into their everyday work life. A nurse has to be very observant and pay attention to everything going on with a patient. To be in the nursing field it requires you to really want to be a nurse, you have to be driven and want to be successful, as a nurse you will never stop learning.
Communication
The most important characteristics that I feel is important to be a nurse is the technique of having effective communication. Communication is key to being a successful nurse. If you have miscommunication in this field, this could cause some one there life and your career. “Good communication helps to build a therapeutic relationship"(England, W. (2012, April 24)
Quality of Care
The other aspect of nursing that I is very important and is very vital to this field, is the quality of work and care you give to a client. “To do what nobody else will do, a way that nobody else can do, in spite of all we go through; is to be a nurse." (Rawsi Williams)
Challenges of Nursing
The last aspect of nursing I feel is the challenges that you will have as being a nurse. There is always going to be different challenges with becoming a nurse. There will be moments when we do not know what to do or even be overwhelmed but if you love your job you never work a day in your life, so if you love being a nurse it won’t be easy but it is easy to go home at night and know that you may have helped save someone’s life. “To make a difference in someone’s life, you don’t have to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect. You just have to care”( -Mandy Hale)
