Communism During The Cold War
The Cold War was a power struggle between communism and capitalism. It was fought mainly between The U.S. and The USSR not long after WWII. There was no actual fighting during this war, it was a war of political beliefs and in which violence was not employed, hence giving the name, The Cold war. The U.S. believed in capitalist economy, which was an economy in which property and businesses are owned by individuals. In contrast, The USSR believed in communism, which was a government in which ownership of property and business was controlled by the government and not the people.
