Sun Yixian(1866-1925)
Sun Yixian was born into a farm family in 1866. He started school at age 10, and at age 13 he moved to Hawaii where he completed his schooling. While in Hawaii he received the citizenship of America, and he liked Abrahams idea of republicanism. In china he was known as The Father Of China. He also learned Christianity. In 1892 he earned his medical licenses, And finally in 1911 he was elected as the first provisional president. Sun Yixian led China to independence. The three principles addressed on March 6, in 1921. The three principles were minzu or preserving Chinese national unity, minquan or protecting the people’s right to govern, and minsheng or Preserving the economic well being of the people. Some commentators have translated minzu, minquan, and minsheng, as nationalism, democracy, and socialism. They were made to make China a free, prosperous, and powerful nation. The principles also appear in the first line of the National Anthem of the Republic of China. It was successful for a little while but afar his death his party formed an alliance with the communist party.
Jiang Jieshi(1887-1975)
Guomindang is the political party founded in 1911 by Sun Yat-sen; it governed China under Chiang Kai-shek from 1928 until 1949 when the Communists took power and subsequently was the official ruling party of Taiwan. Jiang was a military and political leader in the 20th century, he was a very close ally with Sun Yixian. He figured out that he wanted to began military education at the Baoding Military Academy, in 1906. He served in the revolutionary forces, leading a regiment in Shanghai under his friend and mentor, Chen Qimei, as one of Chen's chief lieutenants. In 1916 he succeeded by becoming the leader of the Chinese Revolutionary Party. He led China in to the Second Sino Japanese war. After Suns death he could not maintain a good relationship with the communist. The
