The Iraq war began long before American citizens knew anything was wrong. The war began with Osama Bin Laden, Taliban and Al- Queada, like any guerrilla army they use light infantry, highly mobile cell structured units. Fear plays a huge role as does surprise. Weapons include: Improvised explosives, RPG's, a small amount of stinger missiles and other captured ammunition. and various small arms such as ak-47's, ak-74's, RPD's and RPK's, Dragonov rifles, and Makarov pistols.
