Nowadays, apart from the international economic integration, many countries are attaching very great importance to the globalization in education and Vietnam is not an exception. The Vietnamese governments have begun adopting education internationalization by which many international schools were allowed to establish in Vietnam. That is actually the necessary task in order to approach to the advancement of other education systems and improve the national education quality. Thus, there are loads of prestigious international schools throughout the country, such as International School Ho Chi Minh City - American Academy (ISHCMC-AA), Vietnam Australia International School (VAS), Academic Colleges Group (ACG) which make the wide variety of choices to study. It seems these schools have the advantages over Vietnamese schools because they are supported by foreign investment. Actually, many people may be confused about the choice of school. In order to help you understand more clearly about each education system that I mentioned above, as well as to help you can choose the appropriate kind of school for your condition and demand, we decided to analyze three aspects which are curriculum, methodology, facilities of both international and Vietnamese schools in Vietnam and compare them simultaneously in this essay. For convenience of comparison, we hypothesize that almost all international schools in Vietnam are mostly alike, so we will choose the International school Ho Chi Minh City American Academy stand for the international schools. Similarly, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai high school (NTMKS) is chosen as the representative one of Vietnamese high schools.
Although, there are a lot of differences between ISHCMC-AA and NTMKS, which will be discussed further in the next part, they still have some common things.
