Homes in Mexico and Canada are pretty similar but they have some important difference but this eassay will show that homes in mexico are safer tan homes in Canada in many ways. Although Canada has less criminal rates tan in Mexico the homes in Mexico have more security systems and fences. Other factor is the material with the houses are constructed.
Canadian and Mexican homes have the same apeareances more or less. The architecture in mexican and Canadian homes is much the same.Homes on both countries also have a waterproof system and other protections against the elements because in both countries climates are or too hot or too cold.
As its mentioned before the materias in homes of both countries are diferent. In Canada houses are made of wood and in Mexico they are made of concrete and bricks. The wood is more likely to catch fire than concrete so fires in Mexico are very rare the only probabilty that a house catches fire is a gas leak but in Canada are more common the fires in homes. Concrete is also more solid allthough Mexico is a seismic zone and Canada has low probabillity to have an earthquake. The security systems, fences and alarms are other things Canadian homes lack. This is because Canadian homes don’t need that.
At first apearance the Canadian and Mexican homes are pratically the same but if its really analyzed it can be find several differences between them. This essay was focus on the security and it proved that because of the dangers that mexico has like insecurity, earthquakes and other natural disaster mexican home are made more secure to protect their habitants of this dangers.

Canada is located further up north and closer to the North Pole. One thing that Canada had and Mexico doesn’t is the snow. The most interesting short stories that caught my undivided attention were: “The Yellow Wallpaper” by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, and “Jealous Husband Returns in Form of Parrot” by Robert Olen Butler. These stories were both fascinating and intriguing in the sense that they made me feel like if I was the actual character. You could feel the pain and anguish the characters felt, even the desperation. It got to a point that I felt pity for the protagonist whom in both stories where narrating. Here we can see how someone can feel so desperate that they think the only way out is by taking their lives. Both Charlotte Perkins Gilman and Robert Olen Butler created an incredible form of fiction that makes you question if the scenes in the stories can truly happen in reality.…

The baker in “A Small Good Thing” by Raymond Carver caught my attention from the beginning of the story. He was abrupt with Ann, but it felt like there were reasons that would be explained soon why he was this way. The initial impression I got from him wasn’t likeable but as I got further into the story, there was a spark of compassion in this man that I could relate to. The bakers harassing tendencies and social isolation as a person are not traits I exhibit, where as his strong sense of compassion and emotion is where I can relate more to.…

Everyday, stereotype is used in the society. Sometimes, when people use stereotype on other people, they don’t even recognize it because it’s so common and is ignored by the society. It’s a way to judge people through their common believes based on ethnicity, gender, skin color, appearance and language of the people who are being judged. For example, when people see a Vietnamese woman in her 20’s, 30’s and 40’s just migrated to America, they would assume that she will be working in a nail salon and flirt with some rich guys to get married with. Being stereotype is difficult deal with, and it’s really offended and hurtful. “The Myth of the Latin woman: I Just Met a Girl Named Maria” by Judith Ortiz Cofer and “Mother Tongue” by Amy Tan share some common and different stereotypes that they had to go through. In the story “The Myth of the Latin Woman: I just met a Girl Named Maria”, Judith Cofer wrote about her experiences being stereotyped as a Latin woman. In “Mother Tongue,” Amy shared her personal experiences being stereotyped with her language’s barrier. Even though the two female authors shared the similarity for being stereotyped by the society, they faced different situations on the way they were stereotyped.…

The food in both of the countries is very different. People in India prefer home cooked meals prepared by their mothers or wives. Indian food has many spices which make it very flavourful. In many parts of this country, people are vegetarian due to religious preferences. In India, there are many dishes for different occasions and festivals. In different parts of this country, there are diverse cuisines according to each religion and culture. Indians live to eat, and enjoy their food very much with their families. In contrast, Canadian people prefer fast food, frozen food, and canned food. Since Canadians have busy scheduled lives, they prefer foods that are easy to put together. The Canadian population is widely multicultural. Therefore, a lot of foods in Canada, such as pizza, tacos and nachos, have been adopted from other countries. Melting Pot vs. Mosaic

Canada prides itself at home and abroad as a country made up of a cultural mosaic rather than a cultural melting pot. The mosaic is based on our belief that Canada as a whole becomes stronger by having immigrants bring with them their cultural diversity for all Canadians to learn from. The cultural melting pot, as adopted in the United States, tells immigrants that no matter who they have been in the past, upon landing on American shores, they are Americans and are expected to adopt and follow the American way.…

I have also found that Canadians have a much more slow-paced lifestyle. According to my cousins who are both from Canada but now are living and working in America, “Canadians tend to have a slower pace of life and have much more downtime.” This reflects itself in the countless long weekends we have, including ‘family day’ which is a Monday dedicated to strengthening the family unit.…

    Canada VS US Education

The US and Canada have a lot of difference but they have a lot of similarities as well. Education is free as long as it 's in the public school and you start out in elementary school. For the past twelve years it has been this way along with high-school. Depending on the territory in Canada, it hasn 't quite been as long. For example, in Quebec it has been eleven years instead of twelve. In either country there is no restrains on who can attend school, everyone has equal opportunity (Harring). This is probably one of the most important things considering every child should be able to go to school and get the same chance as everyone else. Although the education is free in both countries, their funding is completely different. The education system in the US is ran by the US department of education under the government while the Canadian education system is the Ministries of Education. There are many associations that are involved with their education including: Canadian Teachers’ Federation, Canadian Education Association and the Canadian School…
