Compare And Contrast A Christmas Carol
I like the DVD better than the written version of A Christmas Carol. The movie and the story are a lot alike. The movie and the story are different in many ways. There are many ways the special effects of the movie make it better than the book. There are many similarities and differences between the movies. The movie and the story are a lot alike. One similarity is there was a lot of fog. Another is when his old partner “Marley” talked to him he told him three ghost will show up in his room. The final one is after the third ghost had taken him to his grave he was scared and he said he will let all three spirits thrive within him. There were many differences I noticed. One difference I noticed was that in the movie they didn’t

There were several similarities between the book and the movie. One way they were alike was Joetta thinks that the angel does not look like her because the angel is white and she is African American. Another similarity between the two was Kenny believes that if he stays behind the couch long enough, the “magic” will work to get rid of his depression. A final comparison was when they see the notebook their mom made and…

The characters had been very much different. From the novel and to the movie, they had not even included the character under the name of Reuven. As well as, Rivka was introduced at the beginning instead of when they had met her at the camp in the novel. As well as, in the movie, the rabbi spoke out much more than in the novel. In the novel, the rabbi faded out of the novel as it went on. The plot from the novel and the movie was very different too. In the novel, the people caught escaping were shot, yet in the movie they were hung. In the movie, they had a Seder in the camp yet in the novel, they did not. As well as, in the movie, they had put pellets into the chamber to kill people, yet they didn't do that in the novel. They had other smaller details included that were different, yet they did not have any impact on the story, such as how they had to dig instead of doing their special jobs like in the…

Since the two are very different, I will tell you 3 differences and similarities that I noticed. One difference was Mr. Shuan, an important character, wasn’t even in the movie! He had killed Ransom and that helped Davie escape. Another difference is that Ransom didn’t die in the movie, or at least not the original way. We saw him on the boat before it blew up in the movie, in the book he died in the hull. My last difference is that The Long Mile Gang didn’t exist in the book. Some evidence that proves the flick wasn’t crazy wrong were (1) Alan did wear a blue coat…

A great work of art that has a great impact on my life is the novel A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickson. The story tells of a cold hearted, selfish business man named Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by his deceased business partner Jacob Marley and three ghosts on Christmas Eve. Jacob Marley who chained tells Scrooge that he should change his way or he will be punished in the after life. Marley beged for Scrooge to be given a chance to change. The ghost’s job is to persuade Scrooge to change his ways to avoid punishment in the afterlife. The three ghosts show Scrooge past, present, and future events that help Scrooge realize he is wrong and changes Scrooge into a better person. The story has had an impact on my life in many ways. The story taught me that a person’s behavior is a product of their past. If a person is unkind, it is the events that happened in their past that has made them who they are. It’s a reminder that showing compassion toward unkind people can make them a happier. The story has also taught me to treat people with kindness and respect. Lastly the story has taught me to always help the less fortunate because a little kindness can change a person's life.…

Like PepsiCo, Nestle is a global snack and beverage company, and it uses various global marketing strategies to sell its food (Kit Kat, Crunch, Toll house cookies, Power bar, Dereyer’s Ice cream) , and drink (Nesquik, Milo, Juicy Juice, Nestea) products. Here I will compare the amount of money Nestle and PepsiCo spends annually on advertising and how each company uses demographics to target and attract their consumer interest. Nestle and PepsiCo both have strong innovations to enhance lives, although Nestle has been doing it longer, they both are very successful in this innovation. Marketing strategy plays one of the most important roles in any business as it is the main factor in successfully advertising and selling of any products and services. Marketing catches the eyes of consumers into wanting to buy the company’s products. It is important to bring about this factor as one of the most important keys in a successful company.…
