In this two movies, the main characters are completely different. In Miracle on 34th Street, the mother was a nice person, but she didn’t value the people who loved her, like her neighbour who was in love with her. In the second movie, A Christmas Carol, the protagonist is a bad person, and ignorant who only cares about money. Both of these movies made the characters change. And also gave the people who watched it a life lesson. The lesson in both movies is that money can’t buy happiness. It teaches people that with money they can be happy for a while but then, eventually, people can end up like Scrooge, having no friends at all, and selfish.     A great work of art that has a great impact on my life is the novel A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickson. The story tells of a cold hearted, selfish business man named Ebenezer Scrooge, who is visited by his deceased business partner Jacob Marley and three ghosts on Christmas Eve.
