Basketball vs Baseball Basketball and baseball are very popular. They are both in the top seven most watched sports in America. They both have the desire to win versus their opposing team mates. They also require the effort of teamwork to score points. They also have many differences like the fields they play one. One is a rectangle and one is a rhombus. Another way they are different is from the scoring. One gets scores by hitting a ball and running to touch bases. The other scores by shooting the ball into a hoop. They also both have the basic offense and defense teams. As was previously stated basketball is a popular sport to some people but to some they are just a way of entertaining people.
