Basketball v.s. Football Basketball and football are both fun and popular sports. They are both played as a pro sport. To play the two sports you need to be competitive. You also can't be afraid to hit somebody be because you have to fight for the ball. You also have to be in really good shape because you run a lot. In basketball, you play on a court. In football you play on a field. A football field is 120 yards long and 53.33 yards wide. A basketball court is 94 feet long and 50 feet wide. A football fielf is a lot bigger than the basketball court. The football field is also made out of grass and a basketball court is made of wood and wax.
