Compare And Contrast Beowulf And Sir Gawain

Beowulf and Sir Gawain are both heroes who accept challenge and are determined to see their challenge to the end, even though the end can be their own death. Beowulf is a strong and confident leader. Sir Gawain, shows less confidence but shows courage is accepting the challenge from the Green Knight. Both survive their challenges, but Beowulf last challenge ends in his death.
Beowulf is portrayed as a confident and courageous warrior. He has taken on the challenge to try and defeat Grendel, a fierce monster who has taken over Heorot, a great hall.
