In defense terms, both Obama and Busch spent way more on defense then any administration since World War II. Most people don’t know that Obama spent more on defense than Busch did. Obama spent about $700 billion a year while Busch only spent $500 billion. In response to the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Bush launched the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Obama cut back both wars.
