Comparing and Contrasting Call of Duty and Battlefield

Introduction

Call of Duty and Battlefield are the two great games that have been dominant in the gaming world for more years now. The two games have locked horns with each other and the gamers claim that they are the best games of the century. The debate of comparing the two games started early in 2011 and the hype was created by the game developers. Whether the player wants to gun down the opponents or demolish buildings using tankers, the games have the best platform to do so. Despite having dominated the gaming world for a very long time, the two games have a gloriously designed platform, which resembles battle arenas that resemble the real war. This ensures that the players have an amazing experience when playing the games. If a player loves fast-paced gaming or straight up playing, Call of Duty is the best while a player who loves strategy and calculated moves, Battlefield is the best. The goal of this essay is to compare Call of Duty and Battlefield.

The customized player is unique and gives room for more than 20,000 combinations. The game has a new squad system that offers the player new kill streaks features. Even though the graphic engine offers real-time lighting, it has not been upgraded for the last five years. On the other hand, the developers of Battlefield upgrade the engine annually. The map sizes of the Battlefield are gigantic when compared to Call of Duty. When playing the Call of Duty using sniper rifles, it is not easy because it does not have maps that a player can engage long range shooting.
