Compare And Contrast Christianity And Islam
Christianity and Islamic are two of the most popular religions in the world. Christianity and Islam are both monotheistic religions meaning that they believe in one God, The Trinity and Allah. Christians celebrate many ceremonies/holidays and Muslims pray 5 times a day. Christianity and Muslims have many similarities but also many differences.

Christianity Beliefs: Christianity is a monotheistic religion which means that they only believe in one god. Christians beliefs about God indicate through the trinity. The trinity is made up of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Christianity is one of the most popular religions with over 2.2 billion people. They have a sacred text called The Bible which is spilt into two testaments, Old Testament and the New Testament. It is full of every event that occurred from God creating the world to the last super with Jesus and his disciples. …show more content…
Easter which is where Jesus Resurrected from the dead. Holy week which includes Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Lent season which is where you take time to fasten. Christmas which commends Jesus’ birth on December 25th. Communion is where you will have Jesus’ body and blood like he did with his 12 disciples before he was forced to carry a hard-wooden cross. Islamic Beliefs: “Righteous is he who believes in Allah and the Last Day and the angels and the scriptures and profits” Qur’an 2:177. Islamic beliefs are crucial to Muslims. They have a ‘God’ but its name is Allah, Muslims also believe in a prophet and its name is Muhammad. Muslims think that Allah is the most powerful creator of the earth, they refer to Allah as a majesty or superiority. Hunter-gatherers were drawn to the cereal grains and, the ability to keep the grains for long periods of time stimulated them to stay. If they hunter-gatherers could thrive of off the wild grain if they were willing to stay near it and harvest at its peak. After the hunter-gatherers had spent so much time collecting the grain they would have been reluctant to leave the grain that they had collected nor could they travel with it. For this reason hunter-gatherers began to settle on the land. These settlers soon found that the grain could be stockpiled for long periods of time without spoiling. The technology of these settlers was still in development so storage spaces were not usually watertight, and when the water got into the stockpile of the collected grains they started to sprout and acquired a sweet taste. Thus becoming malted grains. When gruel, which is made of boiled malted grains, was left to sit for a couple of days it undertakes an interesting transformation. It becomes a pleasantly intoxicating and slightly bubbly liquid, as the yeasts from the gruel turn it to alcohol. The cereal grains used to make beer was often used as an eatable currency, because everyone needed it. People traded and sold it, causing the development and expansion of cities.…
